On Tuesday, November 17, host Trey Cashion talked about the significance of our bodies and our humanity, and how God chose to come into the world as a humble man who lived a fairly ordinary life. He chose to enter into humanity which is a sign of His love for us, a way to show us His relatability to our lives as human beings. Trey talked about the importance of our outward actions in the Church, such as genuflecting and the sign of the cross, among other things, that should be a reflection of what is going on inside our hearts. If humanity is so important for our Creator, it should be the same for us. What we do with our bodies and how we treat them matters. Trey selected Romans 12:1 as our Memory Verse: “Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.”
