Mystery of Parenthood, February 1, 2017

The Mystery of Parenthood is a live show on RED-C Catholic Radio, KEDC 88.5 FM, in College Station, Texas. On February 1, 2017, host Trey Cashion discussed dealing with failure as a parent--both in terms of failing as a parent and of helping our children respond to failure. He provided some steps for dealing with failure with our children. He emphasized being open to the truth that failure reveals to us while trusting in the good that will come out of it if we see it as a grace for turther and deeper conversion. Always as Christian we should recognize that Christ on the cross looked like utter failure. Yet, the greatest of goods came throught that apparent failure. All of our failures need to be seen through that lens. Pray, parent with a purpose, and prepare for God to amaze you!
