On Tuesday, August 18, host Trey Cashion talked about an Apostolic Exhortation that was written by Bishop Thomas J. Olmstead of Phoenix, called Complete My Joy. Complete My Joy is an Apostolic Exhortation to the husbands and wives, mothers and fathers of the Diocese of Phoenix. Trey talked about living our lives in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our faith is something that is meant to be implemented and have a say in every part of our lives. Trey said we are on the earth for a purpose, and part of that purpose is to show God to others through how we live our lives. We can find great joy in our families and grow together in holiness through them. One quote from the exhortation is “Family is likely where we feel the deepest joys as well as the deepest pain. This is because of the deep love that comes with families.” Listen to this episode to learn about carrying your cross while also walking through life with the joy of Christ! The Cashions talked about knowing, loving, and serving God in this life in our day to day, every day, as preparation for the next life. 128 Priorities During Difficult Times
Thursday Jul 30, 2020
Thursday Jul 30, 2020
On Tuesday, July 21, Trey and Stephanie talked about the importance of quality family time. Even in the difficult times we are faced with, it is just as important, if not more so, to make time for family. The Cashions talked about how they have found time to nurture their marriage and their family during recent times while navigating through the challenges we all are facing. They discussed understanding every small action within the family—sibling to sibling, parent to child—as a participation in the Church’s public act of worship in the liturgy. Marriage and family is what God has placed before us to glorify Him. When we value and nurture those relationships, we are giving thanks and praise back to Him for what He has already given us! Remember to pray, parent with a purpose, and prepare for God to amaze you, and He will!

127 Trust God, Do Good, and He Will Act
Thursday Jul 30, 2020
Thursday Jul 30, 2020
On Tuesday, July 14, Trey talked about how Jesus makes Himself present to us in unlikely ways that we have the tendency to miss. He gave examples of how he has seen God work in his life through one of his life mottos, Trust God, do good, and He will act. Trey said we sometimes miss God because we don’t allow Him to act in our lives. We try to take control of things instead of trusting Him and doing what He has placed in front of us, no matter how small or large that task may be. This episode is all about listening for and being mindful of God in our everyday lives. Like Peter on the Sea of Galilee, we begin to sink when we take our eyes off of Christ. When we start to pay attention to Him, we can do things we did think we were capable of! Remember to pray, parent with a purpose, and prepare for God to amaze you, and He will!

126 Trey Cashion: God is still Active Despite our Circumstances
Tuesday Jul 21, 2020
Tuesday Jul 21, 2020
On Tuesday, July 7, host Trey Cashion talked about listening to and being mindful of the presence of God in our lives. He discussed the importance of prayer, spending quality time with the Lord, and teaching our children to do the same. Just because we may not see or feel the Lord, especially in these trying times, does not mean that He is not actively involved in our lives. We just have to be present, intentional, and listen for Him daily. Trey posed the question, can we look at everything going on in the world and still recognize that God is at work in it? Because He is! We may not understand His ways, but He has a plan in the midst of it all. Remember to pray, parent with a purpose, and prepare for God to amaze you, and He will!

Monday Jul 06, 2020
Monday Jul 06, 2020
On Tuesday, June 30, host Trey Cashion had Dennis Macha, President of RED-C Catholic Radio, on the show to discuss fear and faith, specifically during this time of chaos amidst the coronavirus pandemic. A verse from Matthew 6 sparked the discussion: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” Dennis and Trey talked about trusting in the Lord despite our circumstances and how it is alright to be concerned about the things of this world, but we should not let them give us anxiety or override our faith in God. We have to remember that God can bring about good in bad situations, no matter what they are.
